Legendary Peacock gym-East London Canning Town

I have revisited the legendary Peacock gymnasium after 18 long years. Let me tell you that it has not lost its charming character. Old is gold. Unfortunately due to the pandemic the gym was forced to shut down to the public. But the gym is open privately for training sessions. I hope that we can keep the gymnasium open and with hope reopen to the public again. Many great boxers come from the Peacock gym. Daniel Dibois, Prince Naseem Hamed, Derek Chisora, Sir Henry Cooper and many others. We need a Peacock gym to stay open. It's a part of East London's pride and history. I have also met two lovely ladies next door who have a food stall.

One of the boxing rings in the gym has blood stains from many great boxers, including Tyson Fury.

We must not let the developers get anywhere near Peacock gymnasium and that includes the local businesses surrounding the gymnasium. I stand with local owners and local businesses. They must stay open. Locals come first, always.
